Come celebrate the 6th Anniversary of the 1st FoF Cleanup. Hardcastle Heating & Air has supported FoF cleanup efforts for years and is sponsoring this event both with their time and financial support. We will be working on Rampart Range on some pretty bad dump spots, while also removing a few abandoned campers before winter sets in and we are unable to get to them.
Registration/SignIn at the Base Camp: 9:00am
Lunch: PROVIDED, after the cleanup at about noon
MEETING LOCATIONS: Carpool/Caravan to the Base Camp, ARRIVE 15min EARLY
The road does NOT require 4WD, but is dirt and is quite washboardy so we are giving a little more time to arrive at the Base Camp to sign in and then break into groups to hit the various areas.
8:00am - Departs from Monument: Dirty Woman Park (17575 Mitchell Ave) in the main parking lot by the playing field.
8:30am - Departs from Woodland Park: Woodland Park Middle School (600 E Kelley’s Rd) in the bus loop on the east side of the school on Rampart Range Rd.
BRING: Refillable water bottle, gloves, wear sunscreen, a coat, long pants & STURDY shoes/boots
PROVIDED: water, gloves (if needed), grabbers, trash bag
PRE-REGISTRATION is VERY helpful so that we can be sure to bring enough supplies & food for everyone
